BRUCE HASSALL CMInstD

Bruce is a director of Fonterra and Vector and the Chair of The Farmers Trading Company and Prolife Food Group. He also Chairs the Advisory Board of a digital marketing/comms company. He was the Chair of Fletcher Building for over six years and a BNZ director for seven years.  He also served for over 10 years as a member of the Advisory Board at the University of Auckland Business School and was a founding board member of the New Zealand China Council.

Mr Hassall was the CEO and a Senior Partner of PwC New Zealand until mid-2016 when he ended his 30 year career with the Firm and commenced his governance career.  He was responsible for the executive leadership of PwC New Zealand, including the determination and execution of its strategy in New Zealand and was on PwC AsiaPac leadership team.

Mr Hassall has extensive experience with both major public and private companies and  Cooperatives and in a range of industries including retail & distribution, manufacturing, technology, forestry and entertainment sectors. He has extensive M&A, IPO and capital markets experience.
