MATT ENSOR CMInstD
Matt is recognised as one of New Zealand's visionaries in AI, focused on navigating organisations through the journey of AI adoption to create transformations (not just better emails!) His approach lies in identifying the critical steps necessary for genuine change, steering clear of the often-overhyped promises of AI.
Matt is a chartered member of the Institute of Directors, a Business Director at Beca, the founder & CEO of FranklyAI (the best-selling Microsoft Teams App), and a trustee at St Andrew's. He also holds the position of Chair for the AI Forum NZ's Working Group on Large Language Models and serves on Engineering New Zealand's AI Advisory Committee where his insights contribute to shaping the future potential for New Zealand.
Matt’s formal qualifications are in engineering and social science. He won a Prime Minister's Business Scholarship in 2011 and used this to study leadership at the INSEAD Business School in France.
