ROB HEWETT CFInstD
Rob is a sixth-generation New Zealand sheep and beef farmer. He has farmed in the Clutha District since 2002, running a 960-hectare sheep and beef breeder-finisher operation with wind farm and forestry interests.
Rob has been a director of Farmlands since 2015 and Chair since 2019. He also Chairs Silver Fern Farms Ltd, Pioneer Energy and Wool Works. He is a Director of T&G Global, Hilton Haulage and Pulse Energy and is a Councillor of Lincoln University. Rob is the past Chair of the Strong Wool Action Group.
He has an Masters of Commerce and Management (honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) from Lincoln University and is a Chartered Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
