Explore the responsibility of the board in determining an entity’s purpose, and developing and overseeing its strategy.
This module examines the first pillar in The Four Pillars of Governance Best Practice which is determining organisational purpose. It is the responsibility of the board to lead the development of an entity’s purpose and oversee a future-focused and sustainable strategy.
The module also covers the importance of effective board processes and looks at documentation such as board work plans, board charters and processes for strategy development.
This is the third of six modules in the Governance Essentials online module series. You can purchase the whole series or the individual modules.
