Overview

IBM defines AI hallucination as “a phenomenon wherein a large language model (LLM) - like generative AI -perceives patterns or objects that are nonexistent or imperceptible to human observers, creating outputs that are nonsensical or altogether inaccurate.”

CEO/Board trust, CEO succession, stakeholder management, staff engagement, PR crisis and existential financial crisis – the OpenAI saga has it all. Was it a failure of the business model and complicated NFP and company structures, was it a failure of the governance structures failing to keep up with the company’s growth or was it just a corporate governance own-goal?

Join experienced technology director and IoD facilitator Melissa Clark-Reynolds CFInstD for a conversation and reflections about the governance lessons we can all take from the most intense 96 (and more) hours in corporate governance that will likely change the future of AI for all of us.

The session will be facilitated by Guy Beatson MInstD, General Manager of the Institute of Directors' Governance Leadership Centre.
