When a director speaks publicly
Directors’ opinions carry weight publicly. Clarity is crucial when distinguishing personal views from board representation.
I set up Catalyst90 six years ago. We specialise in helping businesses/individuals use social media, sales and technology marketing to maximise business growth. Neck and neck with the changing pace of business, we offer our clients the latest information, trends, advice, and tools.
Before striking out on my own, I held senior sales and evangelising roles with some of New Zealand’s iconic ICT companies, including Spikefin (experts in powerful and easy to use point of sale & enterprise management software and websites for movers and shakers in the food and hospitality industry) and Calcium Software (market leader in e-marketing solutions).
I’m fascinated by the power of social media to transform lives and behaviours and have established Social Media Club Wellington to help increase the knowledge of social media in Wellington. Further to this myself and Jess Bovey (Catalyst90 General Manager) recently executed the successful acquisition of Social Media NZ, which is a business dedicated to being a hub of all things social media and actively working to increase the levels of knowledge and quality of social media in New Zealand.
In the past, I've been the committee chair of Wellington’s largest ICT network, Unlimited Potential, and a board member of the Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce, and a director of the NZ Software Association.
