Rosanne has worked as a company director for over 30 years in New Zealand and Australia as well as extensive work as a trustee in the arts community and tertiary sector.
Her corporate career within the forestry and manufacturing sector predominantly working in marketing and human resources through to the early 2000s when she embarked rather ambitiously and tentatively into corporate governance.

Mike’s governance career started some 30 years ago after a successful management career in manufacturing, construction and tourism. He moved to Northland at that time and became heavily involved in establishing an IoD presence there whilst holding board roles in a wide variety of industries and organisations including Tourism NZ, NZ Conservation Authority, Hawkins Construction, Top Energy, Fullers Bay of Islands, and chairing Waitangi Ltd, Competenz, Enterprise Northland , and a number of smaller SMEs, Trusts and various community groups.
He chaired the Northland IoD sub-committee which was formed in 2009 and has continued to grow and provide networking and learning opportunities for local members and others. In addition to the annual networking functions the committee has focused on running many educational programmes designed to lift the understanding and practice of good governance in the region.
Mike was elected to the Auckland branch committee in 2012 and was inducted into the Northland Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in the same year.
