CPD
A networking event for IoD members, friends and affiliates.
The Auckland Branch of the Institute of Directors invite members and local business leaders in Northland/Te Tai Tokerau to our end of year event to enjoy some complimentary drinks and canapés to celebrate the festive season.
Joining us is guest speaker Russell Shaw who will briefly discuss Northland’s renewable energy resilience and generation opportunities. Aotearoa New Zealand is on a journey towards a clean energy future. Central to this is the importance of planning, collaborating, innovating and building a reliable, renewable energy supply, to achieve New Zealand’s system needs. In turn this will stimulate economic growth and support a cleaner environment. It is vital that clean energy generation projects that can be deployed at pace are enabled with urgency.
Northland experiences some of the highest wholesale pricing in NZ which places an unfair burden on our businesses and households. We are looking to change that, and we’d love to share our thinking with you.
We thank event sponsor The Northland Corporate Group, a consortium of influential Northland businesses, dedicated to improving Tai Tokerau Northland’s prosperity and economic connectivity with the rest of the country. Comprised of, Top Energy, McKay, Northpower, Channel Infrastructure NZ, Culham Engineering, and Marsden Maritime Holdings, they work together to address the challenges faced by Northland, while harnessing its potential.
